Veterinary Pharmacy Sales Position

Taylors Pharmacy currently has an opening in the veterinary sales department, working closely with the animal care industry to provide the best possible range of resources for veterinarians and their patients. Ideal candidates will be motivated self-starters with a proven record of meeting goals, excellent written and oral communication skills, and a get-it-done attitude. Additional requirements include:

An ability to calculate basic figures and analyze documents

Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint

Ability and desire to learn new concepts and information as they become available

Associates Degree or equivalent two-year college or technical school (Four year degree preferred)

Minimum of two years’ experience in sales or customer service, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Valid drivers license with a clean driving record

This position is based in Winter Park, FL and does require some travel.

The SPCA of Central Florida presents “Paws in the Park” at Lake Eola, Saturday, February 11 from 9am-Noon. Fun event for a great cause!

From the SPCA website:

“Saturday, February 11, 2012, from 9 am to noon, join thousands of other animal lovers in your community and show your support for the SPCA of Central Florida!

Enjoy pet related vendors, entertainment, raffles and more!

All donations received from “Paws in the Park” will go back to support the SPCA of Central Florida in their community programming, low cost medical facilities and finding loving permanent homes for thousands of animals!”

Mike Johnson, R.Ph., Provides CE Lecture to Local Veterinarians

Pharmacist Mike Johnson recently enjoyed an evening providing the CE lecture “Florida Laws for Veterinary Dispensing” to the Ridge Veterinary Medical Society in Lakeland, FL. 46 area veterinarians earned their CE hours over a tasty steakhouse meal and the course of 2 hours.
